This course, as part of the Institute on Literacy, focuses on teaching writing through effective and efficient strategies that enhance learning. Amy Pento, B.A., M.S.Ed., C.A.S., is currently the Instructional Specialist in Liverpool, NY. She shares her expertise on some basics on how to teach writing. Each session touches upon a specific subject in relation to writing and how to teach it clearly to students. Methods include an  introduction to sentence formation, the use of appositives properly in a sentence, and sentence expansion.
